Hemp, not the kind you heard about in school!

First, there is a BIG misunderstanding about Hemp. Hemp is not pot. It is a cousin, and doesn't contain the THC that marijuana contains. It will not get you high.

Okay, now the yummy recipe!

Raw Chocolate Hemp Brownies

Hemp seeds are a nutritional powerhouse. Try these power bars for an excellent boost of protein!

* 3/4 cup ground hemp/hemp butter
* 1/4 cup hemp seeds
* 1/2 cup almond meal
* 1/8 cup agave
* 1/4 cup cocoa powder


1. Grind 3/4 cup of hempseed until it becomes hemp butter (I use a coffee grinder)
2. Add hemp seeds, almond meal, agave, and cocoa powder
3. Press into a square container that will allow for desired thickness.
4. Place in refrigerator for 30 minutes or until hardened.
5. Cut into small squares and serve.
