Breakfast Ideas

I will try to post with as many "normal" ingredients as possible. Just remember, if you would begin to sew, you would have to buy a sewing machine, thread, scissors, measuring tape, etc. this is no different. You will most likely need to buy an appliance or two, and maybe even foods you would not have. The good news is, it is food. And good food at that. It will not go to waste!

Here are a few ideas for a raw breakfast.

Strawberry Banana Smoothie

Quick & Easy

Serves 2

raw diet recipes

3 cups frozen strawberries
2 bananas
1 cup water
1 cup of ice cubes (optional)

Place all ingredients a blender and puree well. Add more water if needed for smoother consistency. Too easy, too good!
Allergy information

Dairy free, soy free, gluten free, nut free, chemical free.

Blueberries & 'Cream'

1/2 c pine nuts, soaked 6 hours
1/2 c water
1 T maple syrup
3 pints blueberries

Blend nuts, water & maple syrup at high for 2 minutes. Pour over individual servings of fresh berries. (you could also use strawberries)

Apple Cereal

1 apple of your choice grated
1 banana chopped
small handful coconut shredded
1/4 cup soaked almonds chopped
1/4 cup sunflower sprouts (I think I would use Quinoa myself)
splash of almond milk or coconut water
1 tsp raw honey
dash of cinnamon or nutmeg (we even like pumpkin pie spice)

Mix in a large bowl. Eat...This is great comfort food!!!
